PERRY REGULATING PUMP The Regulating Pump ensures consistent fuel flow to 2-stroke engines regardless of altitude, tank position, or fuel level They improve plug life and fuel economy. Works with any engine that has good mid-range. Requires tapping of the engine’s crankcase. The SG Pump, designed for gas engines, can be used to pump smoke fuels (such as diesel) into the engine’s exhaust system. * Regulating pumps are generally used in most 2-stroke engines (but not giant scale) when one desires
The VP-40SG is identical to the VP-30 except that it is designed for smoke, gas and diesel fuels.
Pump installation is simply a matter of drilling and tapping a 6/32 inch hole in the backplate or mounting lug, installing the pressure fitting (supplied), attaching the impulse line (supplied) and mounting the pump.
